Ivy Liu is a mixed-media youth artist based in Seattle, Washington. Her practice spans painting, drawing, charcoal, murals, embroidery, beadwork, and ceramics, with each work weaving together multiple mediums. 

Ivy's art investigates the intersection of her cultural identity, the natural world, and social and environmental justice. The unpredictability of her mediums drives her process while she experiments with saturation and light to convey emotions in her work. Her art invites viewers to see their own stories within hers. In doing so, they recognize the significance of their relationship with the world and issues they have been called upon to solve. Ivy "creates to empower."
